For more than 30 years, South-City staple Mangia Italiano cultivated a tradition of fine fresh pasta in St. Louis. Today, owners James Bonsanti and Collier Evans keep the classics current, working with locally created Midwest Pasta Company’s products to craft delectable dishes for dinner and brunch in the South Grand dining district. Midwest Pasta utilizes old-world techniques to make its laminated and extruded pastas. Try them in some of Mangia’s staple entrees including cannelloni stuffed with beef, Italian sausage, spinach and ricotta cheese, served in a tomato sauce with mozzarella. Get it as well in a handful of other pasta options well into late night – spinach manicotti, lasagna bolognese, garden-vegetable lasagna and baked spaghetti are also all available until 1:30am daily.
